New Deantronics was founded in San Francisco in 1985 with the goal of one day becoming a global medical device company. I quickly realized that in order to fulfill this dream, I needed my own manufacturing operation. In 1987, I returned to Taipei, Taiwan to set up what would become the company's base of operations for the next 35 years.

From the very beginning, I envisioned building a company with a culture focused on the importance of teamwork, as well as integrity of the individual. The company slogan "Quality Comes From Caring" provides some insight into our mission, the "ND Way".

Over the past 35 years New Deantronics has become a multi-faceted, multi-national corporation with operations in Taiwan, the United States, and Europe. Today, New Deantronics is fully certified by USFDA, TFDA, Japan GMP, ISO, and EU MDD. We have multiple product lines with FDA 510k and acceptances by other countries. Our product lines provide solutions in multiple areas: General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Ultrasound Therapy, and Radiofrequency Electrosurgery.

New Deantronics, headquartered in Taipei, has grown into a company with over 1,000 employees spread across three locations totaling nearly 900,000 Sq. ft. of manufacturing and office space. In 2019, we completed the construction of our new facility in Chiayi, located in southern Taiwan. This location is our largest site to date, with a total area of 460,000 Sq. ft. and is equipped with a world-class EO sterilization facility. Most recently, we completed our U.S. manufacturing and R&D facility in Nevada in 2022. New Deantronics offers services ranging from initial design development to finished sterilized products; we focus on creating quality products that meet international verification and validation standards and are ready to ship directly to our customers' distribution centers.

I established ForMED Ventures in 2015 to further realize my vision of helping medical device startup companies. ForMED is focused on early stage medical device companies and currently has active investments in Taiwan, the United States and Israel. ForMED assists these typically small startups through their early stages and accelerates their development via collaboration with New Deantronics.

We strive to develop and manufacture world-class medical devices, and provide opportunities for start-ups to succeed while maintaining our philosophy of caring for people, products, and the planet. We wish to see the Taiwanese medical device industry continue to grow not only in Taiwan, but also in the rest of the world.
